Happy Birthday From Snickers to Marathon

This week my blog celebrates its first birthday!

From Snickers to Marathon started as a way for me to keep a track of my training for the London Marathon 2012 and has grown into a diary of my weightloss and fitness journey.

In the year that I’ve been writing it:

*I have run 100 miles in races and countless more in training sessions;

*Thanks to Good Vibes I’ve discovered a passion for yoga, a new found respect for pilates and rediscovered how effective a powerplate can be.

*I’ve dropped 2 dress sizes and continue to shrink thanks to Thinking Slimmer and my Slimpod;

*I’ve completed the 30 Day Shred, taken part in PT Mollie’s Virtual Training Group and thanks to Dash learned how to do the jive, tango, samba and rhumba;

It’s been quite a year!

And what birthday would be complete without cake? I absolutely love the look of this running themed cupcake!

So “Happy Birthday” From Snickers to Marathon – I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
