We are on holiday at the moment in the USA. We spent Christmas in Denver with family. It snowed on Christmas Eve through to Christmas morning which was lovely – our first white Christmas in years. The temperature barely got above zero Celsius for the whole of our trip and the snow stuck around which meant that running outside was pretty much out of the question.
Yesterday we flew from Denver to Miami for the New Year and the rest of our trip. The temperature here is far more agreeable from a running perspective – this morning it was around 11°C, sunny with a breeze – perfect running weather for me. I went out for a quick 20min run to explore the area that we’re staying in and break my legs back in again. Here’s a few photos of my run.
I’m going to go out tomorrow morning for a longer run now that I’ve got a better feel for my surroundings having walked around a lot today.
