[LONDON MARATHON] #TBT to 2014, my second attempt at the London Marathon and my favourite running photo ever. Mile 25 just past Big Ben, I'd overtaken wonder woman and it was the point where I realised that my strength training had paid off. Despite twisting my ankle at 10k and having searing hip pain from Mile 9 I finished the race strong and with a huge smile on my face. Although I doubt I'll ever run another marathon, London Marathon day always makes me feel envious of those who get to take part in one of life's great experiences. To those of you running on Sunday - sleep, fuel, hydrate and ENJOY. It's just a brilliant brilliant day. #londonmarathon #vlm2018 #vlm2014 #Iwasarunneronce
[MORE MAGIC] I'm now back to an average intake of 1700 calories a day which is exactly where I started with @shannonsnutrition nearly a year ago. This week I've had my first full 7 days of weighing under 70kg - usually my weight jumps up and down over the course of the week, but this week it's been more consistent. I'm still totally fascinated by this process and how my body is responding to the extra fuel. #reversediet #shannonsnutrition #strongwoman #strength #iifym #flexibledieting
[CARBS] Carbs are well and truly back in my life. Training days this week see me eating 180g of them which is a lot for me! I'm trying to find a balanced way of achieving this so I don't go crazy on bread and haribo 😏. Welcome back porridge! This morning golden syrup flavour with added chopped plum. And coffee. [SO CLOSE!] The pull up has been my nemesis for years. I've been working towards it for what feels like forever. I've used @juliabfit Pheonix series and been working on them with @jesswolsnape. Finally it feels like I'm getting somewhere! This was from yesterday. I'm using my legs a bit too much at the bottom and didn't quite get my chin over the bar at the top but it's the closest I've ever been to the full thing. #strongwoman #pullups #strength #perseverance #juliabfit #fitnessrockstars
